We've Expanded...
Last year, the dead bodies piled up so fast, that we had to expand.

The Crypt is a loud; in your face haunted house.
What once was an innocent looking farm house seated comfortably in the rolling hills of Collin County, has now been turned into a total nightmare. Start your journey through the swamps of Crystal Lake, where your greatest fears come to life. Whatever lurks beneath the waves is not of this world. From there, you'll travel through back alleys, mazes and even a big top circus, before you reach your final destination. Inside the walls of this house are creatures and scares like no other.
This haunt doesn't have JUST clowns, zombies, or any of your favorite monsters....it has all of them and more.
After a year of remodeling and expanding, were excited to bring you the best Collin County has to offer. Triple the size from the years before, scarier and creepier than ever....

We took a chance this year and tried it out instead of going back to The Dark Hour. We were so glad we did. You won't find over the top Halloween decor or big rooms with tons of scary stuff to look at as you move through. But, you WILL be scared so much that you are out of breath and in need of water and an inhaler when you leave! They are great about keeping the group's small (we were only 3 people and went through by ourselves) and they space the group's out perfectly. You can't hear the other group's and you definitely are far enough apart to get scared every single second. There are 2 sections and you have a small break before you go through the 2nd one. Believe me, the break is needed. I can't even tell you if the props and scenery were cool because I was too busy screaming, running, having my jacket ripped off by my terrified 14 year old, and trying to not pee my pants! We will be returning! *The Dark Hour in Plano is well put together as far and props etc but it is nowhere near as scary as The Crypt. If you want to be scared, confused while trying to get out of the maze, and litteraly have your heart pounding out of your chest...this is the place! My 230lb husband was running through this out of fear as well!

  • Went with a group of 15 friends and had a great time

Ron really took care of us. We had a great time and it was very entertaining. We had a few in our group shivering from fear and the girl chanting the Freddie Cruger song was creepy!

  • Great haunt!

BIGGER and BETTER then last year! Takes about 40 minutes to go through. Has corn maze, big top circus area, and the haunted house! You won't be disappointed!

  • Tons of fun

I went to this haunted house last year and had a great time. Took 10 minutes to get through the house itself and then you still had the maze to deal with. (Loved the guy in the tower with the shotgun. He was great and very entertaining.) All the characters were good at their jobs and there was something around every turn. Heard they're adding on this year. Can't wait to go back!

  • Very Disappointed

I have been to many different haunted houses from Fort Worth to Red Oak to Dallas to Terrell, this haunted house was such a HUGE let down, it lasted maybe 10 minutes at the least, it was mostly junior high kids jumping out and screaming at you, it was not scary at all a big let down on how quick it was over, my husband even commented how silly this haunted house was. I would suggested a longer haunted house for the money you pay and decorate with more actors. We will not go back, and take the drive to a well better haunt.

  • Great Fun

This was the best haunted house I've been to. The entertainment outside was a scary clown and a groundskeeper. The haunted house itself takes @ 20 minutes depending on how scared you are.....

  • Awesome Haunt

This was a great place. They said that is the first year in their forever place. I loved the butcher room the best. The actors were really good. For sure a great price for what you get. I will for sure go back and do it again!

  • Good haunt with alot of potential

I go to a lot of haunts so my grading system is harder than most. This is the first year for this haunt in this large of space and I must say I was impressed. They had some cool effects such as the mannequin room which was my favorite. The sets and rooms were on the average side but this was made up for by the performance of the actors. For it's first year great start and this haunt has a lot of potential.

  • Great Value...

Last night was their opening night and it was only $8 to get in. The actors were great and I like how it was dark and eerie. Cool effects and great rooms. One room is all black and white with strobing lights and people moving around. I couldn't tell if there were props in there, but one was hanging on the wall, so had to be...awesome. I saw two girls leaving and crying. LOL Great Haunted House. Worth the drive and price.
