Went with a group of friends during a bachelor party weekend and this ended up being the highlight. There were so many rooms that I lost track of which haunt we were in at one point. Some of the scares got me good. Other times I was laughing too hard at my friends to even notice what was happening around me Get there early if you can. Long lines but worth the wait.

An open letter/review to the guy in line ahead of me that told his girlfriend that haunted houses were stupid and was trying to ruin her night and be all macho...

I heard you screaming like a little baby the entire time. And I saw your girlfriend laughing at you.

Not only is Amarillo ScareGrounds awesome, but it humbles people like that. How could you go wrong?

Took my three teenagers and two of their friends. They talked about the place for the entire drive home, which was both nice and also I would have liked to listen to the Rolling Stones' Foreign Tongues which I've been getting really into but noooooooope. Just how scared they were at this haunted house.

The point being there were no phones out. Nothing. Just two girls talking about practical effects and all things Halloween.

It made me proud.

And I have Amarillo Scaregrounds to thank.

My wife and did all 4haunts and then decided we were apparently not tired enough and booked an escape room too. We did not escape. Not even close, honestly. We spent the last bit laughing at how badly we were doing instead of solving anything. Kudos to them for making it so challenging!

The actors are some of the best in the biz. You think a room is empty and then someone like morphs out of a wall or something. I have NO idea how they were hiding so well. Somehow they still manage to catch you off guard even like 4 haunts in.

The basement was my favorite, hands down. they're all great tbh but the basement is something else. Be prepared!

Went Saturday with my sister and some friends and we all agreed beforehand that we weren't going to be the scared ones. We would NOT be the scared one. No matter how much screaming was going on, we would most certainly NOT be the loudest, or the whiniest, or the scaredycatiest.

Oops.

The Basement was where everything fell apart for me. I could hear someone right behind me. I turned around once and couldn't figure out who it was. Still don't know. Didn't want to investigate either lol.

Already talking about next year.

I'm usually the person laughing at everybody else in haunted houses. Not this time. I was humbled.

First time visiting and I honestly wasn't expecting much. I don't even know why, just being honest to show how much fun I actually did have.

The sets looked great, the actors stayed in character, and that lights room completely messed with me. I walked out feeling like I'd been spinning even though I wasn't sure I actually had. So much fun.

The most in-depth haunted house I have ever been to. Insantarium was creepy at best. Now they’ve added axe throwing too. The blackout maze was creepy fun.
