Metz Elementary School
Austin, TX 78702
In 1990, the century-old school house was demoslished and replaced with a more modern building. The demolition process did not go smoothly, however, as many of the heavy machinery operators reported that their machines would unexpectedly and inexplicably turn off during operation. Several reports of workers falling from ladders and tools gone missing were made during the rebuilding process. Workers at the site demanded an exorcism be performed after many within their own ranks reported seeing children's writing appear on chalk boards in classrooms, and ghostly figures of children in the old building's restrooms.

I when there last year for the book fest with my little cousin that goes there (4th grade) and this was after school hours meaning the halls and classes were closed only the library was open for the book fair. So I tried to sneak by and go into the dark halls and wonder around trying to not get caught hoping I can see or experience some paranormal activity, solo! Now, the buildings it’s self is not old 28 years old, just 3 years older than me lol. Anyways, I experienced a feeling of someone behind me, not sure if it was my imagination or a teacher or janitor behind me, also I had a strange feeling of being watched? Honestly, this scared me but I didn’t hear kids voices of laughs..
I hope this building goes public!
