This former sanatorium, which was used to house tuberculosis patients in the early 20th century, has since been converted into a residential home. Prior to becoming someone's home, brave-hearted individuals who explored the once-abandoned building reported hearing water running in a sink in the basement, though the water had been disconnected from the building for many years. No one is quite sure who is to blame for the ghostly encounters, but it is possible that one of the former patients who did not leave from the building alive, may be the culprit.

  • Grandmother a patient there

My grandmother Clara Maye Moffatt was committed there by my Grandfather Joseph Haskins. It may have been used for tuberculosis patients but was also used as a mental facility.I have her medical records to prove it.This was back in the early to mid 1920's. Contact me at hwj3555@hotmail.com
