This home weas restored in 1975 and ever since is believed to be haunted by Miss Bettie, the daughter of the first owner James Moreau Brown. Her apparitions has been spotted wearing a long turquoise dress on the second floor landing. Her sister who was a pianist may also linger the place, since the piano in the Gold Room has reportedly played on its own.
